Think layers and preparedness over perfection. Here's what you’ll want to pack:
- A waterproof jacket or raincoat—September can be wet, but magical.
- Layering essentials: sweaters, long sleeves, and a light fleece.
- Comfortable walking shoes or boots (preferably waterproof).
- A warm hat, scarf, and maybe gloves—yes, even in early fall.
- Casual outfits for daily exploring and a few nicer options for dinners.
- An umbrella, though wind sometimes makes them useless—hence the raincoat.
- Euros in small bills and a travel adapter for your electronics.
- A journal—you’ll want to write. Ireland stirs the soul.
- A bathing suit (the hotel has a fantastic spa, steam room, saltwater pool, hot tub, and sauna)
